Bento Larouex Menu

Ekiben-inspired bento with a Northwest twist
In Japan, ekiben is the bento you grab at the train station: a boxed meal built around whatever that region does best, packed to travel and eaten wherever you land. Bento Larouex takes that idea and hands it to the Pacific Northwest. Every bowl starts with a base of emmer farro, black beans and cabbage slaw tossed in our spicy vinaigrette, then gets crowned with slow-smoked salmon, brisket, pork belly or chicken from the Saluminator smoker — the same craft that goes into our salumi and smoked meats.

Signature bowls
Five bowls, each named for a Northwest place that earned it. All come on our signature base.
The Seattle
Gently smoked salmon filet, topped with marinated red onions, avocado and yuzu & miso sauce. Bright, briny and a little sweet — the one we'd hand a visitor first.
The Walla Walla
Our smoked brisket, topped with marinated red onions, avocado and BBQ sauce. Low and slow for hours, sliced against the grain, no shortcuts.
The Portlander
Sweet and spicy smoked pork belly, topped with marinated red onions, avocado and BBQ sauce. Rich, sticky and unapologetic.
The Townsend — Vegetarian
Roasted cauliflower and smoked portabella, topped with avocado and smoked hummus sauce. Built to stand on its own, not as a substitute.
The Rainier
Smoked chicken thighs, topped with marinated red onions, avocado and 'Bama BBQ sauce. Tangy white sauce, dark meat, easy to love.
